Message from the President

Welcome to the online presence of the Guyana Medical Association (GMA). Whilst the central contribution the medical fraternity of any country can make will always remain the provision of patient care to the best of our abilities, provision of information in an accessible manner, whether in greater or lesser amounts, is also key for development. So, do come here to learn more about the medical fraternity in Guyana, to gain useful information (e.g. see our budding links page) and to contact or provide feedback to the GMA itself.

I hope that this website can enhance the work of professionals and medical students, the lives of our fellow Guyanese and our beloved country.
